This Song Brought To You By A Falling Bomb

So, I think that some of you may have noticed that my blog posts have some pretty strange names. I suppose that some of you have not noticed that. If you have, then let me explain this. Let me first say that I am someone who loves his music. And my music is a big part of my life. I think that music helps define a person. And that is why all of my blog posts are named after songs. Each and everyone of them. For example, this blog post is a song by the band Thursday. It helps me be creative, and express how I am feeling at the moment. There. Now you know.

Beautiful World

Its snowing! Its snowing! ITS SNOWING! Yay! I love the snow! We have about 5 inches outside of our house right now, and it is still snowing! I love it! I can't wait till the ski resorts open! Oh...speaking of the ski resorts...Brian Head had a job fair at SUU today. I went with intentions of finding out how I would be able to get a night job as a ski instructor or lifty. You know, just something so that I can be an official Ski Bum. I walked in, and a lady waived me over to here table. I sat down with her, and she asked me what kinda employment I would be looking for. I told her anything at night time. She told me that they no longer have ski instructor positions at night, but they have open spots for the lifts, rentals, and at the ticket office. I told her I would be interested in any of them. So she took me to the rental table (which was the first table we got to). I intruduced myself to the three guys at the table. They scanned my resume for about 5 seconds, and then I said something (and I wish I remembered what it was...) and all three of the guys busted out laughing. They then turned to eachother, kinda gave the nod, and told me I got the job! It was just that simple! Amazing! So now I am a ski bum!

A Decade Under The Influence

Welp, it's over.

It has now been exactly 10 years since I last shot a deer.

I will admit, I could have tried harder this past hunt. But at the same time, I will say that did try very hard! Stupid, stupid deer! The only thing that I gained this past deer hunt was this:

1.     About 800 miles on my truck
2.     Pain in my knee
3.     Loss of sleep
4.     Cuts on my legs, and arms
5.     Wasted time

I guess if I really look at it...those are all loses. Figures. But, in case you were wondering, I did see over 100 does, and about 45 elk. With some about 5 massive Bulls. If only it was the elk season...

Maybe next year will bring some better luck.

Totalimmortal

You know, some say that being active is a wonderful thing. Some say that being active prolongs your life. Some say that being active is the only way to live. And some say that being active is...well...TERRIBLE!

However, I love to be active. I LOVE IT. But, I do not love how my body decides to react to me being active.

Today I went and saw my Dr. about my MRI results. It turns out that my knee cap has lost its ability to function. Apparently my knee cap has become loose. And whenever I decide to run, or bike, or hike, or walk sometimes it wobbles around and causes irratation throughout my entire knee. The result being entire knee tendonitits.

The Dr. gave me a shot of cortisone directly into my knee to help relieve the pain, and help the swelling. Those of you who have had these types of injections know that they can be rather painful. He also wants me to do 9 sessions of physical therapy. So, hopefully my knee will be better...someday...Lousy knee!

Make A Move

Well, it is official. I have a new address.

On tuesday I have lucky enough to get a job! I will be working (again) for FedEx! Wahoo! Although this time it will be for FedEx Ground, not Home Delivery. The job is located in Cedar City, and so today I packed up my stuff and moved.

It is weird to be back down here. I was here 3 years ago going to school at SUU. And now I am back. I think that this time around will be much better for me. I have a much better roommate! I have a good paying job! Only one knee is shot unlike both last time! And I only have 1 year left of school!

I am sure that there will be many, many adventures down here. I am very glad that I was able to find a job. Thank you for your prayers and concern for me in my behave. I am very appreciative. Wish me luck!

Humility

I don't know how to even phrase this...oh well. I am in quite the hole right now. I have been laid off from 2 jobs in a row now, and am starting to get behind on some bills. I would appreciate any help from anyone, and I will be eternally grateful for it. I would not be asking for this if I really didn't need it. I am sorry. I understand that times are hard for most people, and I completely understand if you are not able to help. But anything would help me right now. Thank you.

The easiest way I have found would just be to send whatever you can to my paypal account. My username is; thejoshw@gmail.com.

I am sorry that I had to ask. But again, any help would be wonderful.

Thanks.

Sleep Now In The Fire

The Atlanta Braves finished their season today. They won a total of 86 wins and 76 loses. Another season where they get so incredibly close...and blow it! 6 loses in their last 6 games! And 4 of those loses to the Nationals! And losing them when they were so close to over throwing the Rockies and taking the Wild Card! Phff!!!

So now the question is; how will they do next year? 2010 will be Bobby Cox's last year of being their Manager. Will he go out with a better ending than this year?

I guess thats how you can tell if someone is a true fan...they will be supportive when they win...and when they lose. And thats me!

Feeling This

I love Morgan. I love Morgan. I love Morgan. I LOVE MORGAN!

Death Of Seasons

Its over. The Braves that is. They were officially knocked out yesterday. But, I was hopeful that somehow they would be able to turn things around, and finish the season with at least some dignity. I was wrong. The season isn't over yet. But 4 games in a row they've lost! And 2 of those games to the Nationals! Come on!!! Is finishing the season with a win too much to ask for?

Oh well. At least they made a good effort. But now I don't know who to cheer for now to win the World Series...
